River è un nuovo esperimento creativo. Il movimento dell’acqua e la sua potenzialità espressiva hanno sempre suggestionato la fantasia dell’artista tanto da poter considerare questa sua attrazione un fil rouge costante della sua ricerca. Giovanni Frangi è arrivato a considerare che la realizzazione delle sue opere ispirate a questo tema possa trovare una forza visionaria diversa rendendo reale il movimento. Non vuole più quadri statici, ma mobili. Come l’acqua. Questo è il fulcro di River. Esperimento domestico: un tentativo di riflettere sulla percezione visiva e sul movimento delle cose.

River is a new creative experiment. The flow of the water with its expressive potential has always influenced the artist’s fantasy, so that we can consider it a sort of a steady fil rouge of his research. Giovanni Frangi even thinks that the carrying out of his works, inspired by this theme, may find a different visionary power by making the flow real.
