Due dipinti si fronteggiano nello spazio della galleria. Hanno misure identiche, enormi rispetto allo spazio espositivo, ma la trama è diversa, più fitta ne Il giorno, più rada ne La notte, e con essa anche l’effetto e le impressioni che producono sono differenti.

Two paintings face each other in the space of the gallery. They are the same size, enormous compared with the exhibition room, but the weft is different, it is thicker in Il giorno and thinner in La notte, so that the impressions and the effect produced are different.
